Mail gets stuck when I try to add a new Google account

Hi!

I'm attempting to add another Gmail account to Mail. After clicking the +, the window appears where I should choose a Mail account provider. Every option works, except 'Google': a spinning wheel appears and keeps on spinning forever…

Restarting Mail or restarting the system doesn't help. What have I missed?
