when i push add gmail account it gets stuck on mail

Hi!

When I go to the "MAIL" application on my MacBookPro and i press accounts --> add an account --> Gmail --> when it sends you to the small page in the browser where yiu should put your gmail user and password it gets jammed with the rund thing turning... I have various gmail accounts that work on my Macbookpro but I am just not able to ad another one... What should I do?

The same gmail account I am trying to add is installed on my iphone and works perfectly.

Start with this...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
