My trade in return kit has not yet arrived, when to expect it

My trade in return kit has yet to come . I would like to return an iPad for credit.

do I need to pay for the UPS return service? I just bought a new iPad and I am returning the old one (5th gen) to get some money back. I received the kit from apple, which includes a box and a UPS label. I can call them to do the pickup, or drop it at one of their offices. Returning Ipad When returning IPad for credit, if Apple does not accept the IPad for credit do they return the iPad to you or do they recycle them what are some of the reasons Apple would reject giving Credit

Did you also order a new device? If so, Apple will send the trade in box about the same time the new device is being shipped. If you did not order anything, then check with Apple.
