The icloud passwords extension for Edge browser has recently stopped working.
iCloud for Windows 13.0 installed successfully.
Using the extension, it is just blank with the icloud logo.
I have tried everything, multiple reboots, uninstalling and reinstalling both the extension and iCloud for windows application, signing out and in, nothing seems to work.
Any help would be appreciated.

yesterday i finaly found the solution.
Something was wrong with the user profile in windows.
After i deleted and recreated the profile it was working.
But its an interesting issue, because the only thing i changed singe it wasnt wirkung, was updating windows and the icloud-software.

Did you install any additional extensions when you first started noticing this behavior? Have you tested for the same behavior without other extensions installed in your browser? It is possible other extensions are interfering with iCloud passwords functionality. You may also want to Contact Apple Support for additional help.

I had the same issue.
However, I have found a solution.
1.Remove "icloud for windows".
2.Remove the access permission to "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps".
(If you can view the contents of the "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" folder, then you may have access permissoin to it.)
3.Reinstall "icloud for windows"
I don't know if this will work in all cases, but I was able to solve the issue this way.
Are you using iCloud Keychain on your Apple devices? If so, are you having any issues accessing your saved passwords on these devices? If you are only experiencing issues while using Edge, you may want to reach out to Microsoft for additional support. Microsoft Edge help & learning - Microsoft Support

I think the indication works well.
I can see a blue icon if there is a password saved for this website.
If there is no password saved, i see the grey cloud.
The problem occurs with clicking the button:
I am not able to start the 2FA because the only thing i can see is this white window with icloud icon on it.
The icloud passwords app which was launched with the last update of icloud for windows works.
It already worked with exact the same settings that i am using now.
The only thing i have done was updating edge, icloud and the extension.
I also tried with no extensions except the icloud passwords, but the problem was still there.
i will contact the apple support for additional help.

thank you for the reply, I'll try, even if mine is a domain account and I don't know what I'll be able to do ... the "only" thing I did was changing my PC with a new one, probably some domain group policy has changed.

I checked every option descriped in the link.
Everything works fine.

For now keychain is working fine, except the edge extension. I think the problem startet with update to version 1.2.
But the plugin isnt working in other browsers either.
