How do I turn off the hover select/click on Macbook Air-Monterey? I do not have the Mouse & Trackpad in my Preferences as other have said.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.1

Is this the feature: Try:

Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility , then click Zoom > UnSelect Enable Hover Text.
