Can not Verify server identity message

Recently I have received “Can not Verify server identity” message Regarding my Google mail. The server is captiveportal.Nokia.com I don’t know a lot about servers this one sounded suspicious to me. Can anyone advise me? Thank you

I suggest you try the following to see if these steps can help:


  • Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
  • Reset your iPhone's Wi-Fi settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    • This resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, trust settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.

This has happened when I am not trying to connect to Wi-Fi. I generally only connect to my work Wi-Fi or my home Wi-Fi I never connect to any other Wi-Fi out in the community. And I feel that I get an abnormal amount of spam type phone calls and there’s been quite an increase in the amount of a specific type of spam emails.
