iPhone Screen Time showing website 24/7 use

About a week ago I visited a website that, from subsequent googling, seems legit. However, when I checked my Screen Time for the past week this morning, I noticed that this website has been active 24/7 since the day that I visited it. I don't have the tab open in the browser and don't have the browser open.

How can I identify how this website has been 'active' on my phone all day every day, and remove its access? I'm worried that it's done something nefarious to my device.

Hello seaforanswers,

We see you're having an issue with the calculations done via Screen Time, and we'd be happy to help.

With it pertaining to a website, try forcing the browser you're using to close (Safari, Google Chrome, etc.), and then note if it still happens to show up as in-use 24/7 after a couple days.

If needed, this page can help with forcing an app to close: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch

It can also help to try restarting the device: Restart your iPhone

Be sure to also check to see if you're using the latest iOS version (currently iOS 15.3): Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers.
