Gmail issue in loading content

My MacBook Pro is requiring that "content be loaded directly" when I receive an email message. Off to the left it says "your network preferences prevent content from loading privately". How can I avoid the second step of having to load content directly?

In Mail Preferences go to Privacy and try unchecking everything. Also in Network Preferences uncheck Limit IP tracking next.
