I have iphone 13 Pro Max along with 5 Gmail addresses. When I get an email to my phone, I go to dump it into the corresponding folder and it doesn't drop into the selected folder. I have to pull it up on my Imac and dump it in from there. Please advise as to how I can correct this.

You can open the email and tap the folder icon at the bottom then select the correct folder.
On iphone you cannot drag anything, and you cannot drop or move into folder in a different account like you can in some Mac clients.

Never in iphone Mail app since I've had it (4 yrs) may be possible in another email app., or droid phone.
Can do it on Outlook on Mac, haven't used Mail app on Mac for years , too many bugs.

did apple change that function? I used to be able to save an email in any folder even if it was switched to another email address in the phone. Couldn’t do that on the computer 🤷♂️
I’ve always used the mail app that came with the phone and input my G mail addresses…….
