Bluetooth mouse / keyboard disconnects randomly for dozens of seconds

Hello,

I use logi Master MX 3 for Mac and MX Keys for Mac and also a Bose QC35 (but it used to happen also with Apple BT keyboard and mouse) and sometimes all my Bluetooth devices gets disconnected at once for dozens of seconds. I can't remember on which version of macOS this started to happen meaning it probably started more than 2 years ago.

Only workaround is by turning off Wi-Fi and use an ethernet connection instead.

At each update/upgrade I try to see if it's been fixed and always get disappointed.

Anyone knows the actual fix to this?

Thanks,

Téo

If for the devices where ethernet works better, it suggests you may have reached the maximum device limit for Bluetooth.

Consider that even the latest Bluetooth is still a little bit over a Mbit/s bandwidth, consider all your devices you have hooked up, could create a serious lag on bluetooth.

Try seeing if each individual device is able to communicate on its own (use a wired mouse and keyboard temporarily if needed), and if that's the case, you know it is a bandwidth limit.
