time and date incorrect on power up
i have a macbook pro from 2012. For the last month it has, on powerup, displayed an error box telling me that my date and time is incorrect. why does this keep happening. ??

Worst or weakest answer ever. Let me re-phrase the question…
if I shut it off, and come back a day or so later, I get the time and date error.
I correct it, lock in the correct time and date thinking that I have solved the issue.
I turn it back on the next day and the date/time error message is back. Why?
