Apple TV/Airplay/Sonos

A recent update (last month or two) "broke" the connection between my Apple TV HD and my Sonos (1st generation) speakers. I can still "see" them as always via the TV app and remote but when I select them they no longer connect. Updates shouldn't "break" things.
