iPad Pro Magic Keyboard backlit keys not automatically changing brightness
The Magic Keyboard for the iPad is supposed to automatically adjust the brightness of the backlit keys based on ambient lighting. Mine used to do that, until one day, I manually adjusted the brightness of the keys. Afterwards (months later), the backlit keys have not auto adjusted one time. They do not auto adjust at all, I am 100% sure. The only way the brightness can change is if I do it from settings>general>hardware keyboard and change the brightness manually. Every time I go into a dark environment, I have to crank the brightness up. Then when I go into a brightly lit environment, the brightness stays at the place I had it all day, and it messes up the battery life on my iPad. When I used the Magic Keyboard with my wife’s iPad, however, the auto-brightness worked perfectly fine, even after I manually adjusted it. It just doesn’t work on my iPad. No one else seems to have the same problem as me. Any suggested fixes? It obviously has nothing to do with the keyboard itself, since it worked fine on another iPad Pro.
