Ipad Air 2 Screen Distortion, Burning Screen

It might be a hardware (screen? other internal component?) problem, but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that issue remotely, sorry.

I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

• Contacting a local Apple Store or AASP among the list provided above;
• Using the "Apple Store" app, available and downloadable from AppStore.

This is the 2nd time I’ve had this display issue. The first time I followed instructions to adjust just the “white point” in the Accessibility/Display Font menu. I had success, the screen went back to normal. This current episode couldn’t be fixed in the same fashion. My iPad in nearly unusable.
