I phone 13 pro leather case issues Find My

any one else having issues with the iPhone 13 pro reading the apple wallet for find my being connected through the leather case? Works fine on my silicone and clear case but not with my leather one.

Find my wallet only works without case I have bought a leather MagSafe wallet and only just realised that it works with find my. With the case off it does but with the MagSafe silicone case on it does not find the wallet anymore but of course physically it sticks. The case is the Apple silicone case for an iPhone 12 which according to my research should work. Has anyone experienced the same? Not a massive issue but I was hoping I can make it work. To reiterate the find my feature works but only with the Apple silicone case off. I have read that the clear MagSafe case is not compatible.

Find My & IPhone Leather wallet Hello All I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max & running iOS 15.6. I purchased a BLUE iPhone leather wallet in August 2021. I just learned that you can add the leather wallet to my iPhone. I followed what to do to add this to my Find My. It didn’t work. I also looked up what happens if it still doesn’t connect. But still it didn’t work. The notice said Connecting but eventually stops. I noticed however that when I place it on the back of the iPhone, an image of the MagSafe appears and then disappears. Is it that it’s the blue one and purchased before September 2022. Or is there another issue. Any support on this issue would be appreciated. Thank you Robert

Apple Leather Wallet not working with Apple Leather Case I have an iPhone 13 Pro and bought an apple leather case and apple leather wallet together. I initially connected the wallet to my iPhone and it worked fine. After about a month now the phone no longer recognizes when the wallet is connected or disconnected unless I take the leather case off. I am updated to the latest iOS 15.4 and it is still an issue.

no, the leather case is a microthin layer of leather over a plastic cover, it does not have the ability to block wifi/cellular or gps signals from reaching the device
