I’m currently traveling outside US & cellular internet stopped working

I live in the US and have been traveling outside the US since February 10th. In every city that I have been in (New Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Jorhat) my mobile phone service and cellular internet worked. According to my carrier (Verizon) my international travel plan (TravelPass) says that I should get 0.5 GB of high speed internet per day. On the day of the Super Bowl, while watching the game on my iPhone while being connected to the local carrier’s network I got a message saying that my 0.5 GB had been exceeded and would be on a slower connection till the end of that 24-hour. However, ever since that moment I have not had any cellular internet service (I’ve had to sign in to WIFI networks where available).

Please help.

The thing is that you should be contacting Verizon again. The cellular service and data speed is neither provided nor controlled by Apple. Inform Verizon exactly what you have typed in your post and they should be able to correct what has gone wrong with the service.

I contacted Verizon earlier and it couldn’t solve the problem. It would be great is Apple could intervene on my behalf to solve this problem.

According to the information on Verizon’s website there was supposed to be an option to buy more high speed internet coverage when the 0.5 GB limit was reached, but I never received that message asking me to buy more high speed coverage (and, since the cellular internet stopped working, I suppose even if Verizon did send me that text message I would not have received it ! )

So, please help me Apple.

FYIThese are user-only forums. This is not Apple Support. if you need to contact Apple Support, then contact product and tech support: 👉 Contacting Apple for support and service including international calling numbers.

Furthermore, even if you contact Apple, it is not going to be able to help because Apple and Verizon are two different companies with completely different agenda.
