What do I do if someone was calling me on FaceTime and my screen just randomly went grey and I am unable to now open any apps including settings and turn off/reset my phone?

Frozen/ wont shut off I just ended a FaceTime call and the screen is frozen. I cannot open any apps or shut my phone off. I tried the volume up released, volume down release and then power button and nothing is working. Please help.
