Loading and watching prime video on my iMac

My computer (iMac, %K, retina, mid 2015 opens up prime but won't play any movies or shows. Tried to download;oad th app but it wants OS 11.4; really? I think it means 10.14. I manually upgraded from El-Capitan to Sierra (highest compatible with machine) but still looking for 11.4

Anybody have any suggestions on how to load an app to watch? I could not find anything in the app store and afraid to load outside apps

Thanks for the suggestion. When I previously tried, I worked my way down from Catalina, Big Sur would not load (deemed not compatible), but SUR loaded just fine. The app, however, would not load.

The other suggestion lof going to full-screen did the trick.

Now if i could only get my earphone port to work...
