My wife’s iPhone 7 seems to be stuck in some type of headphones mode sometimes her speakers will work sometimes they don’t but she can’t receive an audio call or FaceTime call unless he has his headphones plugged in please help

You might try this when the problem happens:
1) Open the Control Center (swipe up from the bottom of the screen)
2) Long press on the music/audio controls
3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)
4) Select AirPods or iPhone or whatever sound output device you want
