Frequent cutting out

My audio cuts out for half a second about every ten minutes. this is an iphone issue, not a device issue as this article insists it must be. it happens on my airbuds, old airpods, speaker, appletv, and only when the signal comes from my phone. laptop or other phones to these devices work totally fine. the “solutions” in the article do nothing (move closer? really? they can literally be touching and still cut out). has anyone else had this issue? any tips that actually work?
