My iphone 13 ringer cuts off

My iphone 13 pro max is cutting off the ringtone almost immediately so I am missing phone calls. It rings for 1/2 second then gets cut off. I have checked all my settings and they’re correct. Yesterday I downloaded IOS 15.3.1 and now today my ringer doesn’t work. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Has anyone had this happen. Does anyone know what to do? Thank you in advance if you can help.
