Caller hears their own echo when they call me.

My Dad and I both got new iPhone 13's. If someone calls either of us while we are using a Bluetooth device, the caller will hear their own voice echo. The echo goes away if I take the phone off Bluetooth and use speaker phone or the normal handset. This issue occurs with many different Bluetooth devices (Apple Car Play wired, Power Beats Pro, and Sony wh-1000xm4). This issue did not occur before I got the new phones so I know the Bluetooth devices are working properly. Does anyone know how to fix this echo?
