Computer keeps crashing after updating to Monterey

I ran EtreCheck and it has absolutely no issues found on it.

It happens randomly, I'll be watching a stream on twitch, or playing a game on my computer and everything just freezes and I have to hard restart the computer.

I'm using a MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017)

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.2

Please post the EtreCheck output. It is a tool that allows others to help analyze your problem. EtreCheck in and of itself, is not a tool for reporting errors, unless you are well versed in reading its "Tea Leaves"

Post results in an Additional Text box

Also if you have any panic reports

Please post one or more panic reports

Finder -> Go (menu) -> Go to folder -> /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

Command-Shift-Period will show invisible files.   Look for files that end in the word .panic or .contents.panic and post them in an Additional Text box

Press Command-Shift-Period to hide the Finder invisible files again.

uggest downloading the Application Etrecheck directly from a well Respected ASC Contributor. And Safe to use.

The application is free or paid from added features.

Run the application with Full Disc Access ( Security & Privacy - Full Disc Access ).

It will take a Snap Shot -  both the hardware and software.

The Report will Not Reveal Any Personal Information.

Post back the Full Report - copy and paste - using the Additional Text Icon ( 3rd Icon to last )

We can have a look at the report for possible issues and may have possible suggestions to resolve the issues.

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS, alter, modify, remove or delete or attempt to do so is an invitation for disaster and may require a Reinstallation of the OS.

This includes AntiVirus, Disk Cleaners, Disk Optimizes, UnInstaller etc.

This will include CleanMyMac

This will include BitDefender

This will included Norton Antivirus

Sophos Av Software

Intego AntiVirus

McAfee

MacKeeper

Avast AntiViru

Ad Guard

Webroot

The The Built in Security  is all that is required.
