Contact birthdays: only option Chinese

When trying to add a SECOND birthday to any of my contacts iPhone only gives me Chinese language. Adding a FIRST birthday not affected (English). When I touch the label option, I am offered only Chinese, Hebrew or Islamic calendars; default calendar is missing.

iPhone XS, iOS 15.3.1

I’ve checked all settings associated with Contacts, Addresses & Mail & no alternate languages are enabled.

I saw a thread about this from last year, but problem was not resolved.

There is no second birthday, a persoon can only have one birthday date/month/year.

Because the Chinese, Hebrew or Islamic calendars are different than the Georgiaans calender, you get that choice.
