Logitech mouse acting sluggish

Recently, I was using my macbook pro, when all of a sudden, one of my USB C hubs decided to stop working properly.

When I went to install a security update, I noticed that the system was stuck on the apple logo. Eventually, I was able to get it to install the update properly by detaching the hub from the system.

After that happened, I noticed that my logitech mouse started to stutter on the screen. When I tried the trackpad, the pointer had no issues whatsoever. I then stuck the receiver in my Anker hub, but, it still acted the same way. I tried toggling the power on the mouse, but no change. I only purchased the mouse about three weeks ago from target.

My concern is that the USB hub might have damaged my MacBook Pro. Is there any way I can run a hardware test? I'm thinking about going to apple if this continues. Thanks

We understand that you'd like to run a diagnostic test on your MacBook Pro. We can help with that. The following article will walk you through how to run an Apple Diagnostic test: Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac. When the test is complete use this article to look up the reference code(s) you receive: Apple Diagnostics reference codes.

If you'd like to take your Mac in for inspection, this link will help you find an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider: Find Locations.

Cheers
