Can I use my gift card balance to purchase AppleCare for my Mac?

If so, how? No option to use the balance at checkout.

Hello, I would like to know if i can use the 210 CAD gift card directly on my basket when i buy the macbook air m2 chip and pay only the difference of the apple care which will cost 215 CAD before tax. Add your gift card to >System Preferences>AppleID

placed the cards on apple account ID and use total balance on purchase..
