How to stop AirPods from being tracked

This is not an Option:

You, yourself, can't stop this tracking from occurring. The person needs to disassociate them from their own account. Frankly, if these were with me, I'd just trash them, being a privacy concern. But that's just me. So, maybe do away with them somehow. That's the wisest solution, IMO.

Unpair These:

If tracked in any manor, they would be seen with the last device they were paired with that was connected to the internet. This is because they are not assigned their own IP Address. So, unpair them. See here: Unpair, Restart, or Reset your AirPods - Apple Support

Could you please provide some additional info about what you mean?

Are you referring to being able to locate them using the Find My app?
