MacOS 12.2.1, after plugging into docking station, restart required for usb peripherals to work

My system:

  1. CalDigit TS3 docking station,
  2. MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5),
  3. Dell Ultrasharp (x2),
  4. Jabra PHS002W,
  5. Nexigo webcam, and
  6. Keyboard.io Model 01.

The MacBook is connected to the docking station via a single USB-C cable. No cable changes, or anything of note, while updating.

After updating to 12.2.1 and plugging into docking station, restart required for the Jabra, Nexigo, and Keyboard.io to work. The monitors (not USB), however, do work without needing to restart.

Restart not required, if the laptop is already plugged in, while waking up from sleep or logging in from lock screen.

I would check with your third party CalDigit TS3 for an update
