Left my iPhone XS Charging overnight twice now by accident?

The first time was overcharged by 2 hours and the second time, it was overcharged by 3 hours , both are from 20 watt adapter. I’m wondering if it did any damage to my iPhone XS or the battery. I checked the battery health and it’s still 90 percent. safe charger and it was overcharged by 2 hours and the second time 3 hours , both time charged with same charger 20 watt adapter.

but please answer my question is it harmful or not , by mistake i charged over my iphone by mistake next time I didn’t repeat that kind of mistake for sure & I’m also trying to leave night charging next time.

You are fine, the iPhone is designed to be charged overnight. The charger output wattage doesn't matter, the phone will draw what it needs. You have done no damage to your phone, in fact charging overnight is recommended.

And FYI, there is no such thing as overcharging, circuitry in the phone will shut off changing when the battery is fully charged.
