Minecraft not opening on Mac

Hi, just wondering if anyone could help me. I have updated to many different versions of MacOS, and I am now running Big Sur. I have reinstalled Minecraft many times, but it says that Minecraft cannot be checked for malware, and does not allow me to open it. Can anyone help me?

P.S. I have checked other forum posts and they are unrelated to my issue.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Trying to open Sigil app MacBook running 11.6.4 won't open Sigil as "can't scan download for malware." Downloaded from Sigil website not secondary one. How to fix?

Minecraft won't open My Minecraft on my Mac won't open. It's not even crashing, it's just endlessly bouncing and nothing pops up. It just seems to be loading forever trying to open the application, but it can't. I've tried restarting my computer, re-downloading the application, updating my Java, and yet I still cannot find the solution to this issue.

Hello.

I see that Minecraft isn’t wanting to work.

If it can’t be checked with malware, do you have a malware protection system, and if yes, is it up to date?
