A Way to force Mail app to Reload/Redownload Message with Blank Content?

I spend time in a place with weak and frequently failing internet connection. Mail messages arrive at time with blank content. Heading is OK, but rest is blank. Today, 8 of 10 messages were blank, including personal ones (not from mailing list) and one from Apple Support Communities. The problem seems to be getting worse. More blank messages every day.

Problem isn’t Mail. I think it’s the poor internet. But Mail thinks it has downloaded the messages. Need way to get Mail to download again.

There may be some other things you can try. How well they work may depend on your email protocol.

If you use POP mail -- in the Mail program (assuming you use Apple Mail), in Preferences, Accounts, select your POP email account and select Account Information. For my POP accounts, there is an option to delete emails from the server immediately after download, or after a specified period of time, which can be up to one month. If you select something other than "immediately," that will give you some time to log in to a web based interface that most email providers offer, and access the problem email(s) that way.

If you use IMAP or Exchange email, then those protocols allow for accessing emails through a web browser also and the email that was partially downloaded should be visible in its entirety. This is also true for GMAIL.

Are you sure this isn't a little risky for someone, who like me has a poor internet connection? It gets dropped frequently and must reconnect. for example I've tried for few week to upgrade to Monterey, but even in a dozen hours between drops and slow speed haven't been able to download it.

My main mailbox has 11,000 messages. what if can't reload all messages with attachments.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Then the real issue is not directly related to nor a malfunction of an Apple Computer or Apple Software but rather a Weak and Failing Internet Connected supplied by the Internet Service Provider.

Predicated o that as being true - that is really outside of the scope of these Forums.

The only advise is to stay off the Internet when doing anything really mission critical or production wise

with all due respect to your expertise, it is an Mac problem. Mail doesn't download full content. Internet is slow. So, it should take loner. I am used to that. but I do expect the Mail app to download the contents of message, not leave entire message blank. It's not a timed race, so you only get what comes in in set time.

Rebuild reloads entire mailbox. I think you've impliedly said it's not a solution for my problem

I just want to download what didn't come in.
