Can not download rented movies to new iPad mini 6th generation
I can not download rented movies from the Apple store to my new Ipad mini, 6th generation. I only have one Apple account. I am able to download rental movies to all my other Apple devices, just not to the ipad mini. This is not a problem with purchased movies, just rental movies. I want to download and watch rental movies during air travel.
I have been working with Apple support on this case since January 29, 2022. I have done everything Apple support has asked and done it with them logged into my ipad mini, all with no results.
The case been shuffled from one advisor to another, from the Engineering Department to the Media Department. I was sent to an Apple store to meet with someone at the Genius bar, who sent me back to calling a Senior advisor, who then sent the case back again to Engineering, then to Media Content again, all with no solution. The senior tech advisor I have been working with has no authority to make the decision to replace the defective iPad Mini. It appears she can only refer me to the next department. This has been an incredible waste of her and my time. The ROI for Apple and myself in getting a successful resolution, has been well beyond the replacement cost of my iPad Mini, 6th generation. I am completely at as loss as to why Apple is willing to continually put additional resources, time and engineering costs into a problem which seems to have no solution, beyond replacement. I get the feeling that Apple is trying to get me to just give up and keep my defective Mini.
If someone from APPLE is actually reading this post, you will realize
Apple has a real problem with its product support policy: the replacement of a
defective product. This has resulted in extreme customer dissatisfaction on my part.
WHY CAN'T I DOWNLOAD RENTAL MOVIES PURCHASED FROM THE APPLE STORE TO MY NEW APPLE MINI? HOW DO I GET A REPLACEMENT IPAD MINI??
