Yes, that is the thread I searched for but didn't find. It solved the issue.
But now when I open SysPref>Security&Privacy>General, it still shows indeed that
I do not "require password (immediately) after sleep or screen saver begins"
You can set your Mac to automatically log in as long as FileVault is off.
Open System Preferences > Users & Groups. Unlock the padlock then click Login Options and set "Automatic login:".
