Does anyone else feel as though there is an automatic filter on iPhone 13 pro max camera?

Is there any way of fixing the quality of my pictures I take on the front camera? I feel as though there is an automatic beauty filter I don’t know how to remove. I’ve tried all the camera settings and nothing will change.

Pics look over exposed and freckles or any details on the face don’t register.
