Logitech webcam in audio loop

My webcam ends up in a weird audio loop which is broadcast to everyone. Even if I log out of Teams or Zoom it continues. It didnt happen before I upgraded to Monterey. rebooting the Mac fixes it. Also unplugging the USB-C and reconnecting it fixes it. Any ideas, its very annoying to users on the other end?

I downloaded Logitune software (wasn't easily found or listed on Logitech's site) and through that, I updated the firmware on both home and office cameras. I've not had the issue since (5-6 weeks ago), so it appears it resolved my issue.

Logitech rep told me if it didn't work, I'd have to bypass the docking station I use.

I have the same issue. Tried updating the webcams firmware but get a message saying it is up to date. I haven’t known whether it’s my Mac (a new Mac studio), the webcam or the OS! I think all 3 are up the bucket as my 3 dell displays don’t work as expected either. One does (the one connected by hdmi) but the other 2 via usb c only work if I unplug them and then plug them in again to my Mac studio.

so, you mix this webcam issue with the display issue and you end up wondering which way is up!!

if anyone works out the webcam issue, I would be so grateful to hear the fix. Thank you!
