I have a late 2015 27" Retina 5K iMac running Monterey. I have been using these external DACs and amps for a couple of years without any issues. I was wondering if the move to Monterey may have something to do with this. I did try a NVRAM reset but not sure it did anything. Thanks.
Contact the USB device manufacturer or replace with another. Good luck!
What year model iMac do you have?

Have you tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM?
I have switched different DACs and Amps and this does not fix the problem.
Any ideas?
