Apple ThunderBolt 2 Display to MacBook Pro M1, Monterery, via TB3-TB2 Adapter, connectivity issue.

Hardware that I am using:

1: MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) - MacOS Monterery v12.2.1 (21D62)

2: Apple Thunderbolt Display (having TB2 Input Jack)

3: Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter

Issue:

The Apple Thunderbolt display is not detecting MacBook M1 (OS Monterery) when connected via TB3-TB2 Adapter.

Apple Thunderbolt Display is working perfectly fine on an Intel-Based MacBook Pro 2019 with the same TB3-TB2 Adapter, so both the devices are working fine. Besides, the ports of MacBook M1 are also working fine with my iPhone and charger.

Attempts:

I contacted AppleCare and they informed me that as per specification, there isn't any compatibility issue with the devices. Nonetheless, the AppleStore told me that there seems to be a bug or MacOS error that is causing this issue.

Is there any MacOS Monterery Developer here who can verify or rectify this bug?

Will downgrading to MacOS BigSur work out?

Below are screen shots of the TB3 Port Status after connecting Apple TB Display via Apple TB3-TB2 Adapter.

Note solution to the problem was a brand new Thunderbolt 2 cable between the secondary thunderbolt port on the display and the laptop via TB2-TB3 Adapter, rather than using the octopus cable.
