Apple Watch 4 issues

Alright y’all iv tried everything so this is my last resort before having to go to the Apple store. I have a Apple Watch series 4. My phone is connected to the internet. I go into the watch app in order to pair my Apple Watch with my phone. My phone will successfully connect to the watch and shortly after doing so will pop up that a update for the watch needs to happen, I hit update, after hitting update it will load and then it will pop up update cannot commence because your not connected to the internet. I have tried restarting the watch and restarting my phone to see if this will change anything but nothing. Any ideas?
