Connect Macbook pro M1 to a Dell monitor

Hello,

I'm trying to connect a Macbook pro M1 (Serial number G66JGW0F7V) to a Dell monitor (Model number: P2415QB)

I've tried different available options:

HDMI to HDMI,

Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) to DisplayPort

but none of those worked

The monitor appears on the system preferences >> displays but no signal is transferred from the computer to the monitor (so nothing is being displayed on it).

I followed some online tutorials and set a different refresh rate (set to 60HZ) yet it didn't yield any results.
