Find in Pages for MacBook

The 'Find' command in Pages on my MacBook Air 12.2.1 is not working suddenly... There was a suggestion back in January that it would work if I had only one Pages doc open, but that didn't work for me.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.2

I restarted my MacBook Air and the Find command started working again.....
