Missing HDR plug in FCPX

The HDR plug in has disappeared from the Color conversion HDR folder in FCP 10.6. How can I get it back?

MacOS vs Windows supporting HDR The other day I was comparing my 2020 Base model MacBook Pro to a 4th Gen 12.9" iPad pro, Both were running the same video, But the colours were a bit washed out on the MacBook Pro, Further research suggested this was HDR, I then installed Windows 10 via Boot Camp to find it had a HDR switch in settings, something MacOS didn't have, Thus meaning the colours were far better on windows with HDR enabled, Any one know why there is no option to turn on HDR via MacOS yet windows 10 on the same device had this option? I will add photos soon for a comparison.

color (colour) conform - HDR to SDR I have drone footage which has been shot in HLG format (HDR). When I put in FCP the top window (not edited raw footage) shows the video is intended in HDR. However when I drag footage into editing window the video goes all flat and lacking "punch" I see this The out put result is flat as well. I have tried turning color conform off but it just washes out the video. How to I get a HDR result without having to result in adding video effects ? thanks

color wheels not available Computer died. Installed FCPX on new computer. All good. Except Color Boards don't show up. Preferences/General/Color only show Color Board Thanks for your help. OS 12.4 FCP 10.6.3 Apple M1 destop

Are you talking about the HDR Tools effect? It should be in the Color category in the Effects browser. Post a screenshot of what you’re seeing. You may have a software conflict but let’s see what you have now.
