Airdropped PDF files not saved on iPhone

Hello everybody!

Checked the forum and didn't find any resolved issues regarding my problem:

When I Airdrop a PDF from my MBP to my iPhone the phone vibrates/notifies but does not ask where I want to save the file. If I understand correctly thios is because when I did this the first time a loooong time ago I then choose Books to save my PDF's in. However I would now rather save them in the Files app. I still have the Books app, but the PDF's aren't saved there either. If I search for the filename on the phone there are no matches. How can I reset where iOS saves the PDF's?

Use iCloud Drive, see this Apple articles below:

Set up iCloud Drive

Access and manage your files in iCloud Drive

👉 If you're on a device with iOS 11 or later, you can access your files from the Files app.

You place the PDF file in iCloud Drive on the MBP, if necessary create a separate folder for PDF files to simplify searching.
