iCloud Custom domain: Receiving mail but not able to send

Hello, I set up a custom domain in iCloud+ and even though I can receive email, my custom address does not appear on the mail app or the iCloud.com webmail in the 'from' field. The custom domain address appears on the 'Reachable at' but not on iCloud Mail settings in iOS or the iCloud.com mail aliases. I have tried deleting the domain and re-adding it with no success. I also waited 24h to show up and it didn't.

Hello cvchris580,

If you're unable to see your custom domain on the iCloud website, or your Mail settings, please complete the steps in Set up a custom email domain for iCloud Mail on all your devices

Note: You need to have a primary iCloud Mail address in order to use a custom email domain. If you haven’t set one up, see Create a primary email address for iCloud Mail.

  • Go to icloud.com/settings, sign in with your Apple ID, then tap or click Manage in the Custom Email Domain section.

For instructions on how to add a custom email domain to iCloud or create new email addresses, see any of the following:

If the set up isn't completing as expected, we'd recommend contacting Apple Support: Get Support

Take care.
