Insufficient memory

Why does my iCloud memory say I don’t have sufficient memory, when I do and it’s all paid up.

Try Clearing Space:

Too many system resources may be being swollen up. They are being used by unnecessary items. So, consider performing the following...

A. Clean TV and Music Libraries:

Remove all unneeded files from your TV and Music Libraries. Full-Movies take up 2-4GB typically, and a bunch of those would take up a load of storage, ideally. So, if you have any movies that are not needed, then delete them.

Also..

B. Clear Temporary Internet Files:

Clear your Temporary Internet Files(Cookies & Cache) of Safari:

Also..

C. Clear "Other":

Clear the storages named "Other". It basically contains unnecessary files such as caches that are used for system ease of use - all of which gather over time: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tips

To Emphasize:

A. About Storage:

Internal storage cannot be upgraded. It is what it is. So, the maximum internal storage capacity never increases, even if you upgraded your iCloud plan. Learn More here: What's the Difference Between Device Storage and iCloud Storage? Apple Support. So, you'll just have to clear space, and then perform the data transfer.

B. Automatically Uploading Data to iCloud:

To get things (i.e. photos) to automatically upload to iCloud, you need to enable it yourself in iCloud settings. Item types that are not listed need to be uploaded through use of the Files app.

For Example, here is how to Upload Photos Automatically from your iPhone and iPad:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Your Name (Top Item)
  3. Tap: iCloud
  4. Tap: Photos (so that it is green)

If you have enough available storage, then all should upload just fine. But, give it some time to upload. Lastly, things are not automatically downloaded —you need to download it yourself —that’s just the way Apple designed iCloud.

OK, got that. But.

my iPhone storage is 64gb I have used 42gb

my iCloud storage is 50gb I have used 20.2gb

my iPad storage is 64gb I have used 42gb

my iPad iCloud storage is 50gb I have used 20.2gb

my iPhone says I don’t have enough storage my iPad does not say that and is still working normally with iCloud.

so with this figures can you work out why my phone says, not enough storage when the iPad doesn’t say that and is working normally with iCloud.

Thanks so far, hope you solve my problem.
