Meross smart light bulb in updating mode

In apple HomeKit app my Meross smart light bulbs are in updating mode. They work perfect in the Meross app but I am unable to use my light bulbs in HomeKit. The only way I can fix them is to reset the light bulb then remove it from homekit and add them again. This is a recurrent problem that happens at least once a month.

Does anyone know why is this happening and how to fix it?

Troubleshooting an App:

Contact the Developer or Manufacturer. Ask them for assistance. You'd find their Contact Us link in their home screen of their Web site, If an app purchased from the App Store, you'd find their Contact Us information in the app's site of the App Store.

Troubleshooting App Settings:

A. Report this to Apple:

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Comment: that this began after installing the latest update, and provide them with a URL of this post.
  3. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  4. Proceed from there aw necessary

I already did and troubleshoot them with Meross support. They worked perfectly in the Meross app. Firmware is up today, however in homekit they are in updating mode for over 2 weeks. The one way to fix this problem is to remove them from HomeKit and add them again. I am tired of doing this every month. HomeKit need to fix this updating status problem.
