Somehow my iPad Air 4th Gen syncs with a Mac and not Windows

Hello. I have a Space Gray iPad Air (4th generation) 64GB WiFi. I like it and it’s fast and smooth as butter. Today I tried syncing it with a Windows PC and it only let me transfer files, while my iMac let me sync it. Any help?

iPad Air, iPadOS 15

As you have discovered, iPad will only expose its Photo storage to a PC - until such time as you have installed the Apple iTunes application on your PC.

Apple iTunes provides the capability to synchronise or transfer files between iPad and PC - and create a full (encrypted) backup of your iPad without reliance on iCloud alone.
