Deleted iCloud Mail rules are still being applied / rules are not being applied properly on Apple's mail server

Hi,

I opened a case to look into why my deleted server side mail rule on iCloud.com was still being applied.

I am trying to get this issue escalated to Apple's engineering team, as an engineer myself I'm almost 100% confident that this is a synchronisation issue between the rules I've configured on the iCloud.com web app frontend and the backend system / mail server. It seems that rules I have deleted are still being applied on the backend and I have no way of fixing this issue.

Just to make it clear, I am not running the Mail.app on my Mac and am not using client side rules through that app.

Also, for the non technical support people the rule behaviour is consistent across all my devices (iPhone, iPad, the web app on iCloud.com). This is because it is a server side issue.

I have run out of patience trying to go through Apple's tech support process to get this escalated to the engineers, so it would be great if an engineer could look at my iCloud account associated with the support case to investigate the issue.

Specifically, I am experiencing incoming emails being marked as read when they shouldn't be (that's what the previous deleted rule was doing).

Thanks,

Nathan.
