If your iPhone is still connected to a network, you could try to erase it remotely, using iCloud:

Erase a device in Find My iPhone on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Cracked Screen Issues Hi there - I (unfortunately) had to get a new phone because my screen cracked to the point of me not being able to type anything. I'm trying to get my old photos and videos from my previous phone, but in order to access them in iTunes, my phone has to be turned on and on the home screen... but since I can't type anything, I can't open my phone. iCloud storage is fairly dated and only has old photos, so that's not an option. I can get my screen replaced for $150, but I'm trying to NOT have to do this and find an alternative. Any help?

My Phone Screen Cracked. Can I recover the photos, if not on Icloud? If my iPhone 7 screen cracked. I can no longer interact with the screen because it is mostly black. I tried connecting it to my computer but it appears that I need to be able to unlock it first to allow the computer to recognize it, but since most of the screen is black I can not type in the code. Is it possible to get the photos off of the phone if they are not in iCloud? Would fixing the screen resolve the issue? Or are there cheaper alternatives? Thanks.
