How do I turn off airplay even if it’s already turned off?

So, I accidentally turned on airplay and the AirPlay symbol (rectangular box with a triangle) still appears on my screen. My iPad is not connected to the TV. When I try to turn it off in the screen mirroring widget, it shows that there are no devices connected to my iPad. When I try to connect to my TV, it does not work and does not provide a code. When I check Bluetooth, there is no device connected. My iPad thinks I am using Airplay and I can’t use some features, for some reason I also can’t send pictures on discord or Twitter and the pictures do not update when I delete or add a new image. Please help!!!
