Move ring on Apple Watch not updating

I have had my Apple Watch for 2 years and it has always synced perfectly with Garmin and Strava - updating all rings on the watch after activity. For the past week my move ring has not updated with information from Strava and Garmin. The exercise and stand ring are updating but not the move ring. I have not changed any settings and this has always worked fine.

I have read a few posts about this issue but I can’t see anything on how to resolve it. I have tried deleting and reinstalling both Garmin and Strava apps and have reconnected them to Health but it hasn’t fixed the issue.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

Strava’s integration page now says that it doesn’t send third party workouts (Garmin, Zwift, etc) to Health, which ***** cause Strava was always the most reliable and instantly updated the rings.

What’s super weird is after quitting and restarting my Garmin, apple Health, and Activity apps, the Garmin Connect app finally sent the workout to Health. Now Health shows my correct active calories, but Activity doesn’t. I would think these should be the same…
